February 27th 2010 regcure scam xp tweaks

Yesterday my computer kept crashing with illegal operation errors. At first I thought my computer was over heated. Then I moved my computer to a room that had air condition, but the problems still existed. My brother told me my computer might have some registry errors, and he recommended a registry cleaner called Regcure.

I did a little research on Regcure review throughout the internet. In the Google search engine, I typed “bad reviews for Regcure” and “complaints against Regcure” is Regcure scam or not in order to find out the down side of the software. Most of the RegCure user reviews are good, but there are still some bad reviews for regcure. For example, Regcure lacks registry defragmenting, has only one method of backup compared to 3 different ways with Max Registry Cleaner and does not have some of the more advanced support features like Live Help and scan log analysis. However, after using the free trial, I found out that Regcure can actually do some tasks that most of the registry cleaner can’t do, such as:

Automatic Repair: Regcure offers you the ability to perform an automatic repair of detected items after a scan.
Backup and Restore: An automatic backup is created every time you use Regcure. You can restore any items any time for peace of mind.
Startup Management: Regcure offers quick and easy access to all the programs that are launched when you start your computer. You can enable and disable applications in the Manage Startup list with a few simple clicks.
After reading some of the user reviews, I had enough confident about using Regcure. It also offers a free scan of my computer to diagnose potential problems. The scan showed that I had over 700 errors in my computer, and I eventually bought the registry cleaner. It is also compatible with all Window’s operating system, and it includes a full back-up utility to make my registry cleaning experience as easy and safe as possible. Equipped with the standard features of most registry cleaners like custom scanning options, registry optimization, backup/restore capabilities and scheduled scanning options Regcure is a satisfactory registry optimizer.
Honestly I am impressed after using Regcure. It is an extremely simple and easy to use registry cleaner. I only spent less than 5 minutes to learn how to use it properly, and the result is excellent. Now my computer is like brand new.

Why Need RegCure If You Already Have Antivirus Software? There is really no technical reason why antivirus software could not do the work of removal spyware tool like RegCure. And, in fact, some antivirus programs do identify some spyware. However, much of spyware and adware exist in a gray area, not out-and-out fraudulent or harmful, but still raising concerns about privacy. The demarcation lines are still unclear, and that’s one big reason why antivirus software does not yet fully deal with spyware threats.

Antivirus software makers have been reluctant to tackle the spyware threat head-on, usually focusing on only the most egregious examples of spyware. That’s why you really need to use a removal spyware tool like RegCure, even if you have antivirus protection on your PC.

RegCure is a great registry cleaner. However, it is not perfect because it lacks of some advanced settings. If you only need to find a registry cleaner for some basic scanning and fixing, RegCure can do more than enough for you. On the other hand, if you need some advanced features such as memory optimizer and junk file cleaner and you can afford a few more dollars, I strongly recommend Registry Easy You can read a full Registry Easy Review here

November 6th 2009 Benefits of Installing an XP Registry Cleaner

There are a lot of people that are still using Windows XP as it is the operating system of choice for lower-end computers. But when compared to Windows Vista and the upcoming Windows 7, Windows XP isn’t as stable and could use some 3rd party software to keep the performance high and system stable. An XP Registry cleaner like Registry Easy can do just that. There are a number of benefits for installing an XP Registry cleaner and these benefits can be realized just for using the program for the first time.

Improved Overall System Performance

The Windows Registry is constantly accessed by the system right when Windows is loaded because many of the settings are found there and new data is written whenever these settings are changed. Since XP Registry cleaners are designed to reduce the size of the registry by removing any broken entries, accessing and writing existing entries should be faster.

Improved Overall Stability

Sometimes a corrupted registry can result to unexplainable instances where the computer just hangs all of a sudden with no way to get out of it unless you reset the computer. An XP Registry cleaner can locate the sources of the problem by scanning all areas of the Windows Registry. Sometimes the problem can be caused by multiple areas and fortunately it is possible to fix these areas after several registry scans.

Fixes Other Applications

There are a number of applications that rely on the Windows Registry in order to work properly. If those areas of the Windows Registry are affected, mysterious error messages may occur when trying to launch the program or use certain features. Uninstalling and reinstalling the application can fix the problem, but using an XP Registry cleaner makes the work simpler. Sometimes registry problems occur when multiple programs are installed in one go and change common registry entries. A good registry cleaner may be able to fix those types of problems as well so all the programs can work properly.

Allows Safe Registry Backups

Programs like Registry Easy have this decent feature that allows users to back up the entire registry in case future problems arise or automatically back up certain parts of the registry that are about to get changed by the software. With that feature set, there should be no risks in using a registry cleaner since it is easy to restore the back ups and give another chance to scan and determine which registry errors should be fixed.

Offers Other Maintenance Features

Registry cleaners like Registry Easy have the objective in making sure the system performs much better than before. Therefore these programs implemented more than just registry cleaning and added several extras like startup managers, disk space cleaners, and registry shrinkers or defraggers. These extra features make the registry cleaners more recognizable as an all-in-one solution for restoring the performance of the PC or laptop.

Performing registry scans shouldn’t take too long especially on XP. For bigger systems, there is always the quick or smart scan which effectively scans common areas of the registry so the scan completes faster. Frequent use of these programs should help boost the performance of any computer.

November 4th 2009 Error Doctor Review - Is This PC Error Software a Scam?

Is Error Doctor worth paying for to clean up your registry? I remembered when my PC was running really slowly and crashing often, so I decided to use Error Doctor to help me fix my computer. I will be discussing some of the details about this software and my overall experience with it. This is Error Doctor review.

1. Error Doctor Payment Plans

This cleaner software offers various payment plans, at $19.95 for a 1 year subscription plan, $24.95 for a 2 year plan and $29.95 for a 10 year plan. I went ahead to buy the 2 year plan at first, but having used this software to fix and maintain my computer for a few years now, I think I would have gone for the 10 year plan so that I don’t have to renew after 2 years.

2. Backing Up Your Registry before the Scan and Fix Process

The first thing ErrorDoctor will do is create a registry backup before running the scanning and cleaning procedure. This is a precautionary measure taken in case any important entries or any other mistakes are made during the cleaning process. Only after the backup is created will Error Doctor make any changes to your registry.

3. How Does The Error Doctor Work?

I personally feel that this software is able to scan and repair my PC reasonably quickly without using too many resources on my computer. Its interface is also very easy to understand and use.

After the scanning process is done, Error Doctor will present a report of all the errors in your PC, and give you a description of all the erroneous files found. You will then be provided recommendations by the software on how you should fix these errors, and then it is up to you to choose the option you want to use for repairing your computer.

4. Conclusion

There is a wide variety of registry cleaners available to choose from on the internet, but having used Error Doctor myself, I think that is one of the most reliable and affordable software I have used. I always count on it to deal with any PC errors I encounter, and it never fails to deal with any problem.

November 1st 2009 Registry Repair and Their Importance

Your operating system is a complex computer program probably running on a complex machine. The registry for this system is where all the programs, command paths, install paths, and everything else under the sun is registered, and catalogued. Finding decent registry cleaners is a hard thing to do these days as there are so many bloatware programs out there. This will reinstall the registry entries as well.

Even if you reinstall the program the registry may get damaged again if you do not keep your machine in good health. Run your virus scans and spyware scans weekly to keep it free of junk. There are many trusted free programs on the net. By keeping your machine parasite free you can keep the registry in good health. In some cases it may be necessary to defragment the registry. October 11th 2009 RegCure Review - Is It a Scam?

RegCure is a popular registry cleaner and PC optimization software. It is also one of the most downloaded registry cleaners on the entire internet. But is it really as good as it claims? Or is RegCure just a scam?

In this review I will give you the pros and cons of RegCure, so you can decide for yourself if this is something you want to install on your PC.

Here’s the full RegCure review

Registry Cleaning Ability:

RegCure contains a host of useful features which are an addition to its basic task as a registry cleaner. It has a Start-Up Manager, which allows you to choose which programs load up when your computer starts. Stopping certain programs from loading can considerably increase the speed of your PC, so this is a useful feature. It also has an easy to use back up feature, which ensures you can easily repair any errors that may arise if you manually edit your registry - and this also means RegCure can’t do any damage to your PC - as some people have claimed.

Another useful feature is RegCure’s ability to defrag and compress your registry. This doesn’t remove anything from your registry, instead it organizes it in a logical, linear structure - which allows your computer to run and load programs faster.

Ease of Installation:

RegCure was very easy to install. You simply download a small file (which takes about 10 seconds with an average broadband connection). When the file is executed, RegCure will automatically install itself and create a desktop shortcut. This means virtually no PC knowledge is required, as it is all very self explanatory.

Customer Support:

The RegCure software features a fully comprehensive internal manual, which means you can simply click on the “help” icon at the top right of every screen and you will find the answers you’re looking for. The help feature details every aspect of the RegCure program (even though much of the interface is very intuitive and easy to understand). You also recieve a technical support contact, which you can use if you have any problems.
